There is no cookie banner, on purpose.

Cookie banners exist because sites set cookies that need consent. We don’t set any, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing to interrupt you with.

What we don’t use

No advertising cookies, and no advertising pixels.
No cross-site tracking, no data brokers, no audience sharing.
No social media embeds — those are trackers wearing a costume.
No session recording or heatmap tools.

What is stored

A random session identifier, held in your browser for the length of a single visit. It lets us count that one person read three pages rather than three people reading one page each. It contains no personal information, isn’t linked to your email address, and is gone when the session ends.

Nothing else. No preference cookies, because there are no preferences to remember, and no login cookies, because there are no accounts.

If that ever changes

Adding a third-party script to this site requires writing down what it costs and why it’s worth it, in our own decision log, before it ships. If something ever does require consent, a banner will appear and this page will say what it’s for — before it’s switched on, not after.
